Whittakers of Leek is a 3rd generation family run business which started as a skip hire firm in 1979
Covering the Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire Moorlands areas we have developed long standing relationships in the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors offering a professional and reliable service.
Building on this customer base we have introduced hookloader skips, enabling us to offer our commercial customers a more flexible and efficient way of meeting their waste management needs.
Throughout our history we have grown and diversified our business that now operates in the energy from waste and biomass logistics and plant hire sectors.
We have invested in the waste logistics aspect of our business that has enabled us to develop our capabilities in the specialised waste haulage, with the purchase of a state of the art Kraker walking floor trailer fitted with powered steering axles, which allows us to operate on sites often inaccessible for standard types of articulated vehicles.
In addition we own and operate a range of Takuchi mini/midi excavators with a range of attachments such as the latest selector grabs from Kinshofer, meaning that we are able to offer a full package to customers from small house hold projects to site clearance material handling and house building commissions.
